Xpose Live

I had won tickers for Xpose Live on Q102 last month, so decided to go along on Saturday 9th May in the RDS.

I throughly enjoyed the walk around the expo and the fashion show. I was introduced to new products including Incoco, dry nail polish, Smooth Away and Gosh Cosmetics which I heard of but never seen before.

Firstly Incoco where doing an offer of buy a packet for €6.99 or have it applied for €10.

Incoco - French Polish

Incoco - French Polish

I took my seat and had my nails done by a lovely girl, Roisin, as she applied the strips she talked me through how to do them myself. I opted for a French Polish. When she said it would last 8 to 10 days, I thought to myself, no way. I can honestly verify it lasted 2 full weeks. Ok so there were a few chips towards the end of the 14 days however compared to regular nail polish, it was amazing. Go out and get them girlies, I believe they are available in Boots & Dunnes.

My only other purchase due to do funds was 3 Gosh Cosmetic products, any 3 for €10. Not bad at all. I got Nail Lacquer in 571 Wild Lilac, Tropical Eye Pencil in 100 in Violet Queen & Looooong Lash mascara. I have only used the eye liner and mascara once but hope to review in a few weeks.

The fashion show was enjoyable, the dancers were top class, they were from Jane Shortall Dance. Fantastic. The younger girls were from a different drama school and were so cute doing Beyonce, Single Ladies.

Brian was my date for the afternoon, while it would be most fellas worst nightmares he was so good & patient he got treated to a yummy *Real Gourmet Burger afterwards! He did draw the line at the end of the fashion show when Chicco came on stage…

All in all, I enjoyed the trip to Xpose Live however at the same time I was glad I hadn’t paid in ;)

Defo gonna try those nails now - thought they’d be a total gimmick and last about 2 mins!

I’d say they will be difficult to master on yourself but you get 20 in a pack so will give it a go again soon & let you know :)
My nails have never been so long & strong before, I have only stopped biting in the last month or so. I find the trick is to have them polished all the time, then I don’t put them in my mouth cuz they’re pretty :)

I would frickin love to have polished nails all the time - they never last though and I hate the look of chipped so rarely paint them!
