Just because we’re on a diet doesn’t mean we have to miss out on all the fun that is Pancake Tuesday! Pancake Tuesday has always been one of my favourite days of the year, and being Jewish I get to scoff the pancakes and NOT give anything up for Lent so it’s win, win!
This week at Weight Watchers, Assumpta, my amazing WW leader brought in some Pancake Recipes including the ProPoints values so I felt it only right to share the knowledge with you guys

Weight Watchers ProPoint Pancake Recipe:
4 large pancakes = 3 ProPoints
Whisk together 120g plain flour, 1 large egg, pinch of salt & 1/2 pint slimline milk until smooth
Spray pan with your 1 cal spray oil
Pour in small amounts of your mixture to thinly cover the pan
As the batter cooks it will start to come away from the edge of the pan & will slide more easily
Toss the pancake or turn over until the other side is cooked

Pancake Toppings:
Chocolate Spread 15g – 2 ProPoints
Sugar – 1 teaspoon – 1 ProPoint
Fresh Lemon / Lime Juice – 0 ProPoints
Jam – 1 heaped teaspoon 18g – 1 ProPoint
Honey – 1 heaped teaspoon 15g – 1 ProPoint
Butter – 2 teaspoons 10g – 2 ProPoints
Low Fat Spread – 2 teaspoons 10g – 1 ProPoint
I will personally be saving some points to have some Nutella and remember fruit is 0 ProPoints so save some of your 5 a day for your pancakes!
Mwah

Brilliant, thanks a million for the recipe Lee! Mmmm pancakes…
@Gerladine they won’t be a patch on your cakes & cupcakes
Is that 3 points for the four or 3 points per pancake??
3 ProPoints for the 4 pancakes that the mix should make
Woo Hoo! I even text my leader to make sure
I can’t wait to get home this evening and make some of these – I LOVE pancakes!! Spinkle splenda on the top instead of sugar and away we go! (“,)
I have only just seen this recipe and was delighted at the fact you could get 4 pancakes for 3 pro points! but when i checked in my book 1 large egg is 3 pro points and the flour is 2 pro points for every level tablespoon so i dont understant how this recipe value is so low can anyone fill me in please cause its my first week in weight watchers
Hi sorry to burst your bubble but that pancake recipe is incorrect regarding pro points! It’s 3 pp per pancake. 120g of flour alone is 12pp. Just lettin people know in case they go overboard and sabotage a weigh in!
@Jen I can assure last year I trouble & triple checked with my leader…
Does that mean if u make some thick ones that it’s still the 3pp!!..I don’t like the skinny ones, much prefer the small fat ones!!
thanks a million for this..was up in arms about counting points!
@Grace yes – I think I made 3 out of those measurements last year, enjoy them
