Stila made a comeback to Irish shores last September, with a funky new counter in Harvey Nichols, Dundrum. I attended the launch with a number of other Irish Beauty Bloggers.

The launch itself was great with Martin Carter, Stila’s Pro-Makeup Artist attending and showing us around the brand.

Having never really used the brand the first time round I was interested to see what all the hype was about after following Mags from Emerald Eyeliner on Twitter and meeting her at events her favourite brand is Stila

I have two absolute standouts from the brand so far after using them for a couple of months. The first is Stila One Step.

This 3 in 1 product features an innovative triple formula system containing Stila’s Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex, the corrector minimises imperfections, while reducing fine lines and improving the skin’s overall texture.

The green tone works to neutralise redness and blemishes, while the white shade evens the skins natural undertones, the peach brightens and illuminates, giving a flawless finish.

This primer is light to touch and is absorbed by the face quickly without leaving a residue. It has replaced my old favourite Photo Finish from Smashbox because I was sick of the product getting stuck in the bottle.

A great product for a great price of €32.60 although it’s only £24.00 (€27.87 at today’s exchange rate) (with free shipping) on the stila.co.uk website, maybe Harvey Nics & Stila Ireland could review the price to encourage shopping here instead of ordering from the UK.

Having said that, I recommend a trip to the gorgeous looking counter and a chat or make over with counter manger, Sue. Sue did my make up for my work Christmas party in December and it was fantastic. I purchased Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in shade Fiore and next on my hit list is Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer.
