I just couldn’t let this go unblogged!
Kildare Village has annouced that their Juicy Couture Outlet store is opening on March 22nd 2010.
While I am the proud owner of a Juicy Couture tracksuit, I bought mine in Bloomingdales NYC. The prices in Dublin are astronomical.
I also have two bags from the Juicy collection. Granted I bought mine when not every teenager was hangin’ around Dundrum Town Centre with them. I have a brushed leather one that I still use regularly and a brown & pink daydreamer that I get out every now & then.
I wonder what the prices will be like in Kildare, not long to wait!

Haven’t had much time to blog recently. Busy busy busy! However just wanted to show you some recent Summer purchases.

M&S Navy Bow
I am not sponsored by M&S however it’s my favorite place to pick up some gorgeous outfits. Most of my friends my age wouldn’t dream of hitting M&S for a spree but it’s the first stop on my list. Kudos to M&S, real sizes that fit the more curvier girl.

M&S Orange Frill Bib

M&S Purple Sequin

M&S Daisy Dress
The Daisy Dress is great however with the main colour being navy I am on the search for navy leggings, not as easy as you’d think to find. Any suggestions welcome
Footwear for me is always a bit of an issue, I broke my foot in 2006 & every since heels are a no go! I still get an ache where the bone was broken & I also can’t walk, more of a waddle like a duck! LOL
I know my limits in footwear and headed to Clarks to pick up some Summer sandals. Picked up these fab gold gladiators for €27.50, sale, whoop whoop!

Last week I was invited to join my friend Elaine at a Designer Handbag Evening. I was in 2 minds whether to go. €90 for a designer bag with ’slight faults’ seemed to good to be true.
I argued with myself for a couple of days… I’m not into fake handbags, I gave that up when I hit 21. Anyway my curiosity got the better of me so I went along with my last €90 before pay day!
When I first went in and spotted the Gucci bags laid out I wasn’t sure what I was in for, they didn’t look authentic but the Chloe bags on the other hand were fantastic. Immediately I got attached to a gold Chloe bag however after holding it for a good half an hour I decided I against buying.
I was enjoying helping the other girls with the tough decisions of Marc Jacobs or Miu Miu. When I fell in love, a Jimmy Choo Saba bag had been buried under the pile of bags.

I txt my other half and explained that I’d found the ‘one’ but felt a huge surge of guilt & again attempted to justify the purchase. Infact if I had gone home without a bag Brian would have asked me if I was feeling ok!
So after much posing in the mirror, I handed over my €90. Now I’m no expert on Jimmy Choo however from the smell of the bag, and texture it seems like real leather. The bag charms or bag jewellery, whatever you want to call them however aren’t in the best nick. Some of the black on the heavy charm is chipped off.

Genuine or not, I am very happy with my purchase. Its the right colour to go with everything I own, the size is perfect for work or lesuire & as I found out yesterday I can even fit my laptop in it.
It was a really lovely way to spend a Wednesday evening. Lots of new girlies to chat to and discuss handbags & designers. Would love to hold a designer handbag night myself soon so if anyone is interest please let me know.
