It was a pleasure to open my inbox and read about a Body Shop Event in Dublin. I always jealous of the beauty bloggers in the UK who also have some sort of event to attend. It’s about time there were more in Dublin as the beauty community is growing raipdly.
The Body Shop - Love Etc…™ fragrance collection
The Body Shop are launching a new perfume range; the Love Etc…™ fragrance collection, described as; “An irresistibly seductive fragrance, Love Etc…™ is a sensuous union of luminous jasmine with indulgent notes of mouth-watering vanilla and warm sandalwood. Developed by the world renowned ‘nose’ Dominique Ropion, the fragrance opens with elegant, zesty notes of pear, bittersweet neroli and bergamot.
It then builds to a floral bouquet of delicate, feminine jasmine with heliotrope and lily of the valley before finally settling on a sophisticated base of vanilla, sandalwood and musk cream. An intoxication of the senses, the Love Etc…™ fragrance evokes delight and joie de vivre. It’s like spraying on a feel-good factor!”

Ladies, you’ll probably be in Dundrum Town Centre on Saturday anyway if your anything like me, so why not treat yourself? Go on, you deserve it! And fella’s pop along and get some nice perfume for the missus for Valentine’s Day.
While in Dundrum Town Centre on Sunday after lunch with friends in Siam Thai, (which was delicious and great value early bird menu!) I popped into House of Fraser to purchase a Guinot cream for my friend in work.
While looking for the cream I spotted a sign; spend €60 or more & get €6 off!!! Well I should have legged it straight away, I have no willpower!
So I purchased the Hydrallergic Desensitising Protection Cream (what a bloody mouthful!) for Karen & wandered innocently over to the Urban Decay counter. Uh oh!
The girl on the counter approached me & was so nice & helpful. We chatted & I was interested in the 24/7 Glide on Pencil on Dazzledust25 ’s recommendation so I did a swotch on my hand & asked the price; €15 not too bad, then the very clever girl showed me the limited edition Super Stash. We of course it made more sense to get 9 mini 24/7 Glide on Pencils for €28 plus my€6 off, doh!
Urban Decay 24/7 Super Stash
This morning is my first morning to use one, very easy to apply & having just checked my waterline @ 11.44 it’s still there, I can’t believe it! I wonder how it will be doing at my next bathroom break! I opted for the navy one; Binge as it matches my outfit today. I also did a quick swatch of all colours which is below, not the best photo, apologies.
So I toddled off very happy with my purchase… Then I remembered I’d really wanted my make up done for my friend’s wedding this Saturday sooooooooo I toddled back over to enquire about their make over’s.
Urban Decay Heavy Metal in Air Guitar
The deal is €35 for make over but it is fully redeemable on products. Sounds a bit expensive compared to Mac at €25 but how & ever I decided to go for it because it means I can try some more Urban Decay products.
I’ve only have one of their Heavy Metal Glitter Liners in Air Guitar & Primer Potion & I love both so why not, take the plunge…
Dressjunkie has been telling me all bout the Book of Shadows Vol II & I’m already giddy about it, however it’s a long month & with B.I.T.E. on Sunday I should really keep my €€€…. can I resist!!!
After workies on Friday, Brian and I decided to pop down to Dundrum for some pay day weekend treats.
Brian got a Kensington FM Transmitter for his iPhone & I got a fabulous sundress in Next, €49 for my holidays in August then we had a yummy feed in Nandos. Nom noms, peri peri!
Sundress
On Saturday Brian hit the road for Mayo early so I had the whole day & night to myself. What better way to spend a rare girlie day, hair cut & colour for summer, followed by a quick dash into Pennys, beautician trip for waxing & shopping in Liffey Valley, then chilling with family followed by post rugby chats with friends.
On Sunday had a pretty lazy day, did some work from home for my boss & went for a walk along Dun Laoghaire pier and had a 99 in Teddys of course! Best ice cream in the world.
Monday we got up early and headed for Newry. We went to The Quays & Buttercrane Shopping Centres, luckily the traffic wasn’t too bad for us. Had a nice few hours there & I managed to pick up some bits in Boots for much cheaper than in Dublin.
Hope you guys enjoyed your bank holiday. What did you get up to? Roll on the next one, I say!
