Apologies for taking so long to write this post. For those of you that follow me on Twitter you will know things have been crazy for me the past week or so arranging a work conference in Cannes.
I was on a pretty strict budget at this years show. October is a looooooong month and it’s been an expensive one for me this year. I was also hangin’ the day of the show as one of my best friend’s wedding was the day before. I was very delicate walking around the stands.
I have really wanted to expand my collection of make up brushes for ages, I’m not fussy on the brand at all, I already have a mix in my collection including; Mac, Smashbox, Benefit, Pout & The Body Shop. When I spotted the Crown Brush UK stand, it was as if Christmas had come early
I had been looking for something to store my brushes in and when I spotted a pink / purpley make up brush belt, I HAD TO HAVE it!

Belt & Brush Collection New & Old
I am in love with it! So pretty. I am also in love the brushes. Altogether I bought the belt and 6 brushes for €55. I think it was a great deal, sure I would have only got 1 Mac brush for that price in rip off Ireland.
Below are the brushes I got:

Small E/S Brushes

Deluxe Oval Shadows

Blending Brushes
I absolutely love, all of them, especially the blending brush above right which I believe is a complete dupe for Mac 217. I used most of them creating my smokie eye look on Saturday for the Irish Web Awards, however I forgot to take photos, ooopsy!
The new brushes and belt have prompted me to clean up my make up bag and slowly getting everything more organised to move into my new girlie room (which still isn’t finished!).

Queen Bee 628

Milky Way 918
I also got two Jessica nail polishes, 2 for €10 not bad at all. I got a sparkley red; Queen Bee, 628 and a fabulous navy blue; Milky Way, 918.
Grrrr no matter what I do I can get my photos to line up, very annoying!
I also purchased a Konad Stamping Nail Art kit last week on eBay and plates so I hope to do some a post on that soon! Stay tuned!

While in Dundrum Town Centre on Sunday after lunch with friends in Siam Thai, (which was delicious and great value early bird menu!) I popped into House of Fraser to purchase a Guinot cream for my friend in work.
While looking for the cream I spotted a sign; spend €60 or more & get €6 off!!! Well I should have legged it straight away, I have no willpower!
So I purchased the Hydrallergic Desensitising Protection Cream (what a bloody mouthful!) for Karen & wandered innocently over to the Urban Decay counter. Uh oh!
The girl on the counter approached me & was so nice & helpful. We chatted & I was interested in the 24/7 Glide on Pencil on Dazzledust25 ’s recommendation so I did a swotch on my hand & asked the price; €15 not too bad, then the very clever girl showed me the limited edition Super Stash. We of course it made more sense to get 9 mini 24/7 Glide on Pencils for €28 plus my€6 off, doh!

Urban Decay 24/7 Super Stash
This morning is my first morning to use one, very easy to apply & having just checked my waterline @ 11.44 it’s still there, I can’t believe it! I wonder how it will be doing at my next bathroom break! I opted for the navy one; Binge as it matches my outfit today. I also did a quick swatch of all colours which is below, not the best photo, apologies.

24/7 Super Stash Swatch
Left to Right
Zero, Oil Slick, Corrupt, Eldorado, Graffiti, Binge, Ransom, Rockstar & Stash
So I toddled off very happy with my purchase… Then I remembered I’d really wanted my make up done for my friend’s wedding this Saturday sooooooooo I toddled back over to enquire about their make over’s.

Urban Decay Heavy Metal in Air Guitar
The deal is €35 for make over but it is fully redeemable on products. Sounds a bit expensive compared to Mac at €25 but how & ever I decided to go for it because it means I can try some more Urban Decay products.
I’ve only have one of their Heavy Metal Glitter Liners in Air Guitar & Primer Potion & I love both so why not, take the plunge…
Dressjunkie has been telling me all bout the Book of Shadows Vol II & I’m already giddy about it, however it’s a long month & with B.I.T.E. on Sunday I should really keep my €€€…. can I resist!!!

Just a quick post. For those of you who follow me on Twitter I was feeling sorry for myself as this morning while rushing to get ready for work I knocked over my Mac pallette, my pride and joy! and in the process mushed 3 eyeshadows including my Swimming which I love!
Soooo it’s lunchtime in work and I’m checking out donedeal.ie as there are a few Mac listings. I should have known better but the money saving thoughts overpowered my logic and reason, so I decided to email one the of the sellers regarding the Mac Palettes. To say she gave the game away is an understatement! Please see below:
Lee: Hi There, just wanted to enquire about all your Mac stuff. I swear by their stuff & am looking for eyeshadows, do u have the refills for palettes? Looking forward to hearing from you, Lee
Seller: Sorry no i dont have the refills only the complete pallet its self €25 euro per palette of 12 colours thanks alot:)
Lee: Can I ask what colours are included, 12 for €25 sounds great, very interested
Seller: You can pick which ever palette you want:)

Pallets 1 - 5
Lee: Oh I see, do the eyeshadows not have individual names? Never bought a pre made pallet before, just always made up my own, thx
Seller: Did’nt u say u swear by MAC??? & you’ve never seen a set palette not even the 88 colour one ?
Lee: Calm down! No I just have my own pallette which I bought empty and filled myself in New York and I just buy refills for it in Brown Thomas, Grafton St. I like the idea of a set pallette but never seen or purchased before
Seller: LoL im very calm:)…. Didnt u see the 12 Colour palette’s in Bloomdales in Newyork City thats were all my products come from..
As soon as the reply wouldn’t tell me the names of the individual shadows I knew it felt dodgey and I will be saving up for replacements in Brown Thomas very soon! I wonder if donedeal.ie have a policy for people possibly selling fake goods like eBay? I have just emailed them to find out…
If anyone from wants to contact me I’m at lee at mwah dot ie
I hope this post helps anyone else considering a cheap Mac deal in the future and thanks to all my Twitter buddies for confirming my suspicion.

The past 6 weeks or so have been so crazy for me that I haven’t had a chance to sit at my laptop and write about all the exciting things!
I have been to London twice, once with Brian as part of his birthday present and the second for my first ever work trip to the Airline Retail Conference.
My trip with Brian was great fun, we both love London but had never been together so I booked cheapy Ryanair flights and with a little help from Lastminute.com booked us into The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch. The hotel has ultra modern decór and incredibly helpful staff. The location just off Oxford St is fantastic too.
After we settled in the hotel we met friends for some lunchies in Camden, we went to Haché, for some amazing burgers, I thoroughly recommend “Le Mexican”.

Le Mexican
After stuffing our faces we strolled along Camden, hadn’t been there in years but not much has changed. My only purchase in Camden was flat pink shoes from Office.

Office TOTO PUMP BRIGHT PINK SUEDE
We did bump into Kate Walsh & Philip Taylor from this years UK Apprentice, they were stopped taking photos with others so I said why not!?

Kate Walsh, Me & Philip Taylor
We spent the night drinking around Leicester Square, had a great night, popped into Waxy O’Connors and ended the night classily in KFC! LOL!
On the Sunday we got up early and hit Oxford Street, surprised to see that most of the shops weren’t open till 11.30am. We found a lovely spot for brekkie and then waited for Selfridges to open, I am in love with that shop, I could happily spend the day there! I got my Mac Mineral Foundation so I was happy. I also purchased a pair of “jeggings” from Next, a black top with frills in H&M sale for £5 (bargain!).
We hit the Mac Shop, Regent Street where Brian purchased an iPhone 3G Dock & I got a InCase Slider in pink for my non exsistant iPhone!
InCase Slider Pink
We had lunch in Covent Garden and enjoyed the street performers & made our way back to the hotel and made our return journey.
I love London but this visit was far too short but very sweet
